Pairing an after party with on-campus events can be an effective student marketing strategy that keeps customers coming back.

Pairing an After Party with On-Campus Events

With so many restaurants, bars, and clubs in a college town it can be hard to make your venue stand out and more importantly to retain repeat customers. One way of reaching college students is by pairing an after party with on-campus events. Likewise, sci-fi visions of future college marketing strategies may soon become commonplace practices, and it always pays to be ahead of the curve.

The combination of creative imagination and at least low-level scientific expertise evinced by sci-fi readers and writers makes them especially suited to speculating about the future. In fact, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies employ a group of sci-fi writers called SIGMA to work up various scenarios and futuristic solutions that might seem fantastic or outrageous to ordinary bureaucrats.[1]

How to Use College Marketing Strategies to Help Promote Your Company’s Image

Engaging with students in different fund raising techniques—while participating in college marketing— will help foster a bond between your company and the students, creating loyal customers.

Many organizations and student clubs are funded solely by the members or rely on various fund raising techniques to stay afloat. Usually the groups are for a good cause, such as Relay for Life (cancer research), Habitat for Humanity (building affordable housing), Amnesty International (protecting human rights), or environmental clubs. Others organizations cater to students’ interests. Either way, contributing in a small way to these student organizations will help build your company’s image and reputation.

Subleasing Apartments

Subleasing Apartments On Campus Advertising

It’s about this time of year when college students break into a frenzy about subleasing their apartments for the summer. Whether it is a summer job or classes at a different University, many college students run into the same problem: The inability to sublease their apartment.

As a student facing that exact problem, I wonder if on-campus advertising and word of mouth viral marketing would help, but then recall the past month where these two strategies were unsuccessful. Through Facebook and other social media outlets, it is easy to see others facing similar problems.
